Episode #27: How Your Thinking Patterns Affect Your Business
As the decision maker in your business, your thinking patterns are an important asset to protect and cultivate. When it comes to evaluating your thinking patterns, it’s much more complex than choosing to think positively. In fact, simply thinking positively can even cause you to purposefully ignore important information that you really need to consider in order to avoid negative consequences.
If it’s not just about being a positive thinker, what thinking patterns are beneficial in helping you grow your business?
In this episode, I want to talk about the power of your thoughts and how your thinking patterns affect you and your business growth. And I’ll share a few tips for how to protect and cultivate your thoughts to help you develop your entrepreneurial mindset as you grow your business.

Episode #25: How to Conduct Market Research for Your Teacher Business
Action Steps:
Find a way to practice gratitude - whether that’s a gratitude walk or a journal or even just a simple conversation with someone you love and trust to help you bring to mind the resources and experiences that you already have to draw on as you build your business.
Redesign one thought - Find one thought that you’ve noticed is causing you some to feel some kind of discouragement or stress and go through Dr. Leaf’s steps for reconceptualization by first acknowledging the thought, identifying why it’s there, and then redesigning how you’re going to think about it, whether that’s by finding or focusing on other evidence or cultivating your resilience.
Analyze the data - Look for relationships and models that can support you and exemplify the lifestyle and goals that you are working towards.
